In the City Part II: My BFF Ross!

A few days ago I dragged Nolan to the city for the opening night of Ross Mathews' book tour. O-M-G. Ross Mathews is SO DAMN FUNNY!

I bought a copy of his book, Man Up! for each of us to get signed after the show, where he was doing a little meet and greet!

With the show beginning at 8PM we arrived promptly at 7:10! When I informed Nolan and Ryan we should arrive that early they were a little confused and most likely thought I was crazy/super excited.

Being that I was a little bit of both, and a professional over preparer, I knew we shouldn't waste any time! Without having to wait in line we walked right in, had our tickets scanned, and received our big boys and girl bracelets, letting everyone know we were allowed to drink!

There were plenty of books for sale for those slackers who didn't do so beforehand! (Apologies for the semi blurry photos to come, it was very dark inside.)

We certainly timed our arrival perfectly and snagged a few seats in the second row!

Thankfully, there was an overpriced bar, some great throwback music playing, like a few of Britney Spears' hits, along with Shania Twain's "Man! I feel Like a Woman!" to distract us during our 50 minute wait!
Not quite impressed with what Brittney and Shania had to say, Nolan found another way to kill time.

The time finally came when my new BFF Ross came onto the stage, looking like his dapper self, in a blue suit with a cute pink polka-dot tie! Everyone in the audience clapped and cheered as he made his way to the mic, in utter excitement for all the laughs to come!

He spoke of his love for the adorable JTT, Oprah, and his days as an Amish man.

I don't want to spoil anything for those of you who might go see his show, or read his book...I'm just telling you to do one, the other, or preferably both! It's well worth it!

Ryan, me, Ross, and Nolan after getting our book's signed!

When in line to meet him I couldn't shake my nervous feeling. Once I began walking up to him he said, "Oh, aren't you gorgeous! Don't gorgeous people come to my show!" I giggled and gave him a bear hug!

I love hugs. I'm a hugger, and I judge people based on their hugs. I can't stand those half a$$ed taps on the back where you stand too close to one another.

Let me tell you, Ross didn't do that! He is an exceptional hugger! He went in and squeezed me tight!
Ross's little love note to me!

I've only read about 30 pages, and am thoroughly enjoying it so far. It's a funny read, allowing you to breeze right through it! If you plan on buying his book online, I suggest buying it from Target. You get a discounted price!

Until next time!
