Five Drug Store Beauty Buys

I must admit, I am not one who can rationalize spending $50 on an itty bitty bottle of foundation or face cream, needless to say, I know my way around the drug store beauty aisle. So here are my five favorite drug store beauty buys!

1. Maybelline's Fit me Shine-Free Foundation. It is extremely affordable and really does reduce any shine on your face. I've been using this foundation for the past 4 months. To my fellow ladies with a slightly oily face, this works wonders and leaves your  face even and shine free! The best part is that you don't have to get all messy! Just swipe on the places you want to cover, grab your foundation brush and blend, baby blend!
2. CLEAR Volumizing Root Boost Nourishing Shampoo. I've been using this shampoo for about 3 months. When I first purchased it I wasn't expecting much, being that every other brand that offered volumizing shampoo never followed through and left my hair feeling normal and weighed down. With CLEAR, I love my hair. I shampoo and condition with their volumizing set and then after my shower, put a little shine serum in my hair and let it air dry. My hair is always bigger and keeps a curl if I twist it into a bun later in the day!

3. Pond's Dry Skin Cream. With the cold weather ahead, this face cream is good for sensitive skin and has a thick consistency that actually leaves your face feeling fully moisturized and slightly oily, in a good way. It feels like it is being fed all the nutritious ingredients leaving your face fresh and beautiful!
4.Garnier Frutis Sleek & Shine Anti-Frizz Serum. My hair can not go a day without this. I've been using the Anti-Frizz Serum for I don't know how many years, probably four. Evey now and then I try to branch out and try something new, but it never works. The lesser products either made my hair too oily or left it all frizzy, forcing me to go back to this gem.  I'm pretty lucky because with a little attention my hair usually behaves and does what I want. But on day's I want to go product free and don't use any serum, it's a little frizz ball and I can't wait to use it the next morning!

5.Sally Hansen Thicken-Up!. The holidays are just around the corner which means I want pretty long nails to paint. When I'm in the process of going without color, I always slap on two coats of this to keep my nails strong while trying to grow them out!
