Memories of 2013

Happy New Year's Eve!

Apologies for being M.I.A....the past few weeks have been loaded with days of gift buying, wrapping, cleaning and baking! With it being New Year's Eve, I figured it's the right time for a recap of some of my favorite memories in 2013!

Every Valentine's Day Nolan has a beautiful bouquet delivered to me. Even though it may seem like a cheesy routine, each and every one is different and lands a huge smile on my face! This Lily was exceptionally beautiful and HUGE!

Throughout the year my mom and I have our random mid week 'Mommy-Daughter Dates' where we meet for some dinner, do a little shopping and lots of chatting. These are some of my favorite times. She is an absolutetly hilarious and strong woman and an amazing mother! I can't wait for many more dates like the ones we've had in 2013!
I've always wanted to start a garden and this year I did! It was a lot of work and a long and interesting learning experience. Despite it being only semi successful, I was certainly proud of my hard work and all of the fresh veggies I grew!
Sushi nights with my twin are some of my all time favorites. She orders from one of the best sushi places in the Capital Region, then we drink wine, chit chat and dig in!
I'm not one for many outdoor activities, but this year, Nolan and I purchased kayaks. It's so much more fun than I thought it would be and is the perfect way to spend a relaxing afternoon out on the lake! I love it!
I try not to make resolutions because in the past I've quit them within three days. So for 2014 I'm just hoping for an even better year with more great memories!
